Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998, as amended (FS(J)L)

The Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) issues this public statement under Article 25(d) of the FS(J)L.

This statement is made in order to warn investors and others against dealing with unauthorised financial service providers. WF Ltd has not received authorisation to conduct financial service business within the meaning of the FS(J)L.

It appears to the JFSC that WF Ltd is falsely purporting to trade from an address of St Paul’s Gate, New Street, St Helier, Jersey JE4 8ZB and is carrying on, or holding out that it is carrying on, financial service business in Jersey when it is not authorised to do so pursuant to the provisions of the FS(J)L.

The JFSC wishes the following to be known:

1. WF Ltd has never been registered, nor applied for registration, under the FS(J)L. Therefore any financial service business, as defined in Article 2 of the FS(J)L and carried out by WF Ltd, is in breach of Article 7 of the FS(J)L;

2. WF Ltd is not connected in any way to Deutsche Bank International Limited, its subsidiaries or White Stone Finance Limited who are genuine registered entities located at St Paul’s Gate, New Street, St Helier, Jersey JE4 8ZB. Deutsche Bank International Limited is authorised by the JFSC to conduct regulated activities in Jersey;

3. From documentation held by the JFSC, it would appear that WF Ltd, the Website and the Email Address display warning signs of being set up for a fraudulent purpose.

All regulated businesses in Jersey are listed on our website.
