Regent Street Finance
Public Statement
Regent Street Finance (RSF)
regentstreetfinance.co.uk (the RSF Website)
16 April 2018
Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998, as amended (FS(J)L)
The Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) issues this public statement under Article 25(d) of
the FS(J)L.
This statement is made in order to warn investors and other against dealing with unauthorised
financial service providers. RSF has not received authorisation to conduct financial service business
within the meaning of the FS(J)L.
It appears to the JFSC that RSF, as described on the RSF Website is falsely claiming to be connected to
Regent Street Finance Limited, a Jersey company which was dissolved on 20 December 2017.
Further, it appears to the JFSC that RSF is falsely purporting to trade from an address of 26 Helier
Street, St. Helier, Jersey JE2 3RA and is carrying on, or holding out that it is carrying on, financial
service business in Jersey when it is not authorised to do so pursuant to the provisions of the FS(J)L.
The JFSC wishes the following to be known:
1. RSF has never been registered, nor applied for registration, under the FS(J)L. Therefore any
financial service business, as defined in Article 2 of the FS(J)L and carried out by RSF in or
from within Jersey since 1 July 1999, is in breach of Article 7 of the FS(J)L.
2. RSF is not connected in any way to Regent Street Finance Limited which was registered on 12
February 2007 and dissolved 20 December 2017, having its registered office address at 26
New Street, St. Helier, Jersey JE2 3RA.
3. From documentation held by the JFSC, it would appear that RSF, the RSF Website and the
RSF email address display the warning signs of being set up for a fraudulent purpose.
All regulated businesses in Jersey are listed on our website.
Any person who has had dealings with RSF is requested to contact the JFSC.
