Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 (FS(J)L)

The Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) issues this public statement under Article 25(d) of the FS(J)L.

This statement is to warn members of the public against dealing with unauthorised financial service providers. The impersonating entity has not received authorisation to conduct investment business in Jersey and has no link to Global Execution Limited (RC 117454, a legitimate Jersey registered company affiliated with BlueCrest Capital Management). 

From documentation held by the JFSC, the impersonating entity is falsely claiming to trade from Liberation Station, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3AS and to have a registered office address of Ground Floor, Harbour Reach, La Rue de Carteret, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 4HR. It is carrying on, or holding out that it is carrying on, investment business in Jersey when it is not authorised to do so by the JFSC.

The JFSC confirms the following:

1. The impersonating entity, website and email addresses are not connected in any way to the legitimate Jersey registered company Global Execution Limited and are not connected in any way to BlueCrest Capital Management. In Jersey, Global Execution Limited is based at Ground Floor, Harbour Reach, La Rue de Carteret, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 4H. 

2. The impersonating entity has never been registered, nor applied for registration, under the FS(J)L. Therefore any investment business, as defined in Article 2 of the FS(J)L and carried out by the impersonating entity, is in breach of Article 7 of the FS(J)L.

3. From documentation held by the JFSC, the impersonating entity, website and email addresses all display warning signs of being set up for fraudulent purposes.

Anyone who has had dealings with the impersonating entity is asked to contact the JFSC’s Enforcement team.
