Applications

Apply to be a principal / key person or update your information (PQ)

You can apply to be a principal / key person using our personal questionnaire form on myProfile. You can also update your information.

We do not accept paper-based applications.

If you are accessing the portal for the first time you will need to register.

Apply for a fund service provider registration

Apply for a Fund Service Business (FSB) licence through myJFSC. To access the service you will need to register or login.

Navigate to myApplications to complete the online form:

Jersey Private Fund Applications will only be accepted online through the authorisations tool. Contact authorisations@jerseyfsc.org for more information or to register for access.

Notification for non-Jersey domiciled collective investment fund

Notification of fund service business acting in respect of a non-domiciled collective investment fund

Notify us of ceasing to act as a fund service provider for a non-Jersey domiciled collective investment fund

Complete and send us the following form if you are a fund service provider, appointed by a non-Jersey domiciled collective investment fund and registered under the FS(J)L to carry on fund services business, and you no longer intend to act for the non-Jersey domiciled fund.

Make an outsourcing notification

You will need to login to MyJFSC portal to submit an outsourcing notification.

Outsourcing notifications should be submitted to us via myJFSC. If you do not have a myJFSC account, you will need to complete this form and send it to authorisations@jerseyfsc.org.

Licence and certificate cancellations

Make changes to your certified fund certificate

Complete the following form and send it to us if you need to change your certified fund certificate for the termination of one or more sub-funds:

You may also need to complete and send us the following form: 

FSB (excluding trustee or GP) ceasing to act notice

You need to pay us a fee for a change request to your certified fund certificate for sub-fund termination.

Cancel your certified fund certificate

Use the following letter template to cancel a certified fund certificate:

You may also need to complete and send us the following form if you are a fund service provider, appointed by the relevant Jersey certified fund (excluding a trustee or general partner) and registered under the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 to carry on fund services business:

Cancel your funds service business registration

Complete and send us the following letter if you are a fund service provider, registered under the FS(J)L to carry on fund services business, and you intend to cancel your registration.

Cancellation of Jersey Recognized Fund Permit /fund functionary ceasing to act

If you are a permit holder of a recognized fund or fund functionary and wish to cancel your permit or no longer act for the relevant recognized fund, contact our Authorisation team.

Notify us of ceasing to act for a Jersey managed entity

Complete and send us the following form if you are a manager of a managed entity, appointed by a Jersey managed entity and registered under the FS(J)L to carry on fund services business, and you no longer intend to act for the managed entity.

Cancel your Control of Borrowing (Jersey) Order 1958 - (COBO) consent

If you no longer require the COBO consent for your COBO structures (issued with a COBO consent prior to 18 April 2017), including COBO only funds, Very Private Funds and structures, and funds authorised under the Jersey Private Placement Fund Guide, you need to write to us to revoke the consent, by using the forms below.

Complete the appropriate form below and send it to our Authorisations team: authorisations@jerseyfsc.org

COBO consent granted to a unit trust

Jersey Private Funds (issued with a COBO consent from 18 April 2017)

If you no longer require your COBO consent, complete a Jersey Private Fund Notice of Change or Event form via myJFSC.
