Whistleblowing

If you are aware of wrongdoing by any of the firms we regulate, or an individual connected to one of these firms, you can report your concerns to us in confidence.

Our Intelligence division is responsible for working with whistleblowers. They ensure that any communication is kept confidential and anonymity is protected. 

Complaints that count as whistleblowing

  • breach of legal obligation
  • miscarriage of justice
  • a company or person is carrying out unauthorised business in Jersey
  • a company or person is not meeting regulatory requirements

Complaints based on personal grievances or being unsatisfied with a service do not count as whistleblowing.

We understand that making a report can be a difficult decision and you may have questions about what will happen next. Find out what to expect when making a report.

Contact us

You do not need to give your personal details when speaking to us. If you choose to give your details, they will be held in a secure system where access is restricted to the Intelligence division.
