Setting up your myRegistry account - Android users

To start using myRegistry you will need to:

  • Download the 'Authy by Twilio' app to your smartphone.
  • Register as a new user on myRegistry

Getting started

Download and install the Twilio Authy app from Google Play.

Twilio Authy app icon

When you have downloaded the  app, open it and check it looks the same as the below image. If it does not, please reconfirm that you have downloaded the Twilio Authy app.

Enter your international country code, mobile phone number and email address.

Press OK. You will then have the option to receive a phone call or SMS to verify the account. We recommend selecting the SMS option to receive a code by text message.

A SMS message will be sent to your mobile device. This will be picked up automatically and you will progress to the next screen.

You do not need to add an authenticator account as shown on the screen.

Load the myRegistry page on your preferred web browser.

Click the login/register button the select ‘sign up now’.

Next you will need to:

  • Enter the same email address you used for the Twilio Authy app
  • Click the ‘send verification code’ button. A verification code will be sent to the email address you entered
  • Retrieve the 6 digit verification code from your email (This will be sent by ‘Microsoft on behalf of JFSC-B2C’)
  • Input the verification code in the verification code field
  • Click the ‘verify code’ button
  • Enter and confirm your new password (minimum 10 characters – including at least one symbol and one capital character)
  • Enter your first last name
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions
  • Click create

Input the county code and mobile phone number and click ‘Continue’ as shown below. This must be the same number as you have used to register your Twilio Authy app.

This will automatically create the “JFSC Account” within the Twilio Authy app on your phone.

The myRegistry screen will show “Please wait while we process your information.”

Open the Twilio Authy app on your mobile phone and select “approve”. Once you approve the Authy request, it will log you into myRegistry.

This completes the myRegistry registration process.

For future logins you can simply use your email address and password on the myRegistry login page and “Sign In” (Blue button) as shown below.

You will be required to ‘approve’ your login in the Twilio Authy app each time you log in.

Checking for Authy notifications on your phone

Open the Twilio Authy app on your Android phone. Click on the bell icon to view the notifications.

The following screen appears. You can see any ‘Pending’ notifications. In this case, there are three notifications pending.

Click on the most recent sent notification and the following screen appears:

Approve the notification. This completes the authentication process and will allow myRegistry to proceed.
