Watch: Supervision monthly update - December 2024
In this supervision monthly update, Director Jason Carpenter rounds up our November activity and shares what you can expect to see this month.
In November, we published:
- Bitesize feedback: Virtual asset service providers – Travel Rule
- Bitesize feedback: Fund services business – unregulated funds
- feedback on fees consultation
- industry survey response videos
We also:
- continued our thematic assessment visits of trust company businesses
- completed our review of the fund sector’s approach to custody and safekeeping obligations
- met with the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner to discuss trends and additional guidance
- hosted a financial crime training programme in collaboration with the Toronto Centre and Jersey Overseas Aid
In December, we will:
- continue work on thematic assessment visits
- work with regulatory consultants to provide guidance
- publish our NPO quarterly newsletter
