This statement is to warn members of the public against dealing with unauthorised financial service providers.

The impersonating entity, via the website and email address, is falsely purporting to represent Verite Trust Company Limited, a genuine Jersey registered and regulated entity (52538).

From documentation held by the JFSC, the impersonating entity, via the website and email address, is falsely claiming to trade from Oriel House, York Lane, St. Helier, Jersey, JE4 9NU, the registered address of Verite Trust Company Limited. The impersonating entity is also carrying on, or holding out as carrying on, financial service business and Schedule 2 business in or from within Jersey when it is not authorised to do so by the JFSC.

The JFSC confirms the following:

  1. The impersonating entity, the website and the email address are not connected in any way to the genuine Jersey regulated entity, Verite Trust Company Limited based at Oriel House, York Lane, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 4YH.
  2. The impersonating entity has never been registered, nor applied for registration, under the FS(J)L or Supervisory Bodies Law. Therefore, any financial service business or Schedule 2 business carried on by the impersonating entity, is in breach of Article 7 of the FS(J)L and Article 10 of the Supervisory Bodies Law.
  3. From documentation held by the JFSC, the impersonating entity, website and email address display warning signs of being set up for fraudulent purposes.

Anyone who has had dealings with the impersonating entity via the website or email address is asked to contact the Enforcement team.
