Updates to Appendix D2: Source 8 data and D2 country codes

We have made amendments to source 8 of appendix D2 of our AML/CFT/CPF Handbook in response to the Basel Institute's rectification of a data error in March 2024.

Countries added to source 8:

  • Cote D'Ivoire
  • Guinea
  • Lesotho
  • Nepal

Countries removed from source 8:

  • Barbados
  • Uganda
  • Chile

Removed from the list of countries and territories:

  • Barbados

We are introducing the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) country codes, to enhance Appendix D2 as requested by industry. The ISO country codes cover the majority of regions with those few that are not designated easily determined.
