See our 2026 thematic examination programme
We conduct thematic examinations in response to perceived, current, or emerging regulatory and financial crime risks to maintain high compliance standards across regulated and supervised entities, protect Jersey’s reputation as a well-regulated international finance centre, and support the fair treatment of customers.
Themes for 2026
This year, our thematic examinations will focus on:
- exemptions from customer due diligence requirements
- customer complaints
These themes are assessed across a range of entities from different sectors, providing a broader view of compliance standards and associated risks.
How examinations are conducted
Examinations can be conducted through:
- questionnaires
- in-depth onsite visits from our supervisors
- desk-based activity
- or a combination of these methods
Entities selected for any examination will be contacted directly by their supervisor.
