Sanctions Guidance – Key Considerations for relevant financial institutions
The guidance note linked below was removed in 2024 due to further development of the Government of Jersey’s sanctions framework (gov.je). For sanctions risk assessments, please refer to our AML/CFT/CPF handbook (jerseyfsc.org) (see sections 6.2 and 8.8 for sanctions compliance codes and guidance) and Sanctions (jerseyfsc.org).
In light of the rapidly changing sanctions regimes resulting from the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we have issued this guidance note as a reminder to relevant financial institutions of the dedicated sanctions resources available to them via our website Sanctions — Jersey Financial Services Commission (jerseyfsc.org) and also that of the Government of Jersey Sanctions (gov.je) .
We’ve also taken this opportunity to flag some key areas for consideration by relevant financial institutions at this time. Read the full guidance note - Key Considerations for relevant financial institutions — Jersey Financial Services Commission (jerseyfsc.org).
