Reminder to notify us of appointment and cessation dates for principal and key persons
If you are a regulated businesses in Jersey, you have an obligation to notify us:
- when you appoint a principal or key person
- when that person stops working for you
Individuals in these roles also need to update their personal information at the start and end of their appointment on myProfile.
Appointments
Individuals should update their personal information with their appointment date via myProfile.
Businesses should notify our Regulatory Maintenance team via email, of a principal or key person’s appointment date.
Ceasing to act
Individuals should update their personal information with their ceasing to act date via myProfile.
Businesses should notify us when an individual ceases to act as a principal or key person, by completing and submitting the notification for ceasing to act as a key / principal person within one month of the individual’s last working day in the position.
If the individual did not proceed with their appointment, we also need to be informed.
