New Registry search coming soon - interim services offered for obtaining documents and certificates of good standing

Our new Registry search facility will soon be available to Registry customers.

With this new search facility, you will be able to search for corporate and legal entities, and order copies of publicly available documents and Certificates of Good Standing.

Updated 14 July 2021 – The new search and certificate of good standing service will be launched by 30 July. In the meantime, we will continue to provide all of our services as currently.

Certificates of Good Standing

If you need a Certificate of Good Standing, you can request one by emailing certificatesofgoodstanding@jerseyfsc.org

There are fees for certificates and you can pay over the phone with one of our team.

Registry search and document orders

You can still run company searches and order documents using the current search facility. This search shows what documents a company has filed up to 18 February 2021.

If you require a list or copies of any public documents that have been registered since 18 February 2021, you can email certificatesofgoodstanding@jerseyfsc.org with your request:

"Please can you provide copies of any documents filed by XYZ Company Limited under the Companies (Jersey) Law 1991, since 18 February 2021?"

We will respond to your request with one of the following two responses, whether any documents have been filed or not:

“In the period 18 February 2021 to the date of this email, XYZ Company Limited (the Company) has not filed any documents with the Registrar of Companies under the Companies (Jersey) Law 1991, which would usually be available by an electronic search of the public file of the Company maintained by the Registrar of Companies.”

Or

“In the period 18 February 2021 to the date of this email, XYZ Company Limited (the Company) has filed documents with the Registrar of Companies under the Companies (Jersey) Law 1991, which would usually be available by an electronic search of the public file of the Company maintained by the Registrar of Companies. All such documents are attached to this email in [insert number] pdf attachments.”

Service levels

We are aware that some requests may be time sensitive.

• If we receive a request for a search, document or Certificate of Good Standing by 11:00, we will aim to get back to you by 13:30 on the same day.
• For any requests received after 11:00, we will aim to get back to you by 11:00 the following day.
