We’ve hosted a number of webinars following the publication of Jersey’s first Money Laundering National Risk Assessment last year. The series included a number or sector specific sessions including trust company business, banking, funds, investment business, accountants and most recently lawyers.
The final webinar of our National Risk Assessment series will focus on all other supervised persons such as lenders, estate agents, casinos and money service businesses and will take place on Wednesday 9 June at 14:00.
The session will be hosted by Caroline Morgan, our International and Industry Engagement Co-coordinator who will be joined by a representative from our Pooled Supervision Unit.
The webinar will cover:
- What the National Risk Assessment means in terms of risks/threats/ vulnerabilities
- What action the JFSC will be taking following the assessment
- What action we expect Industry to be taking
- What this means for interactions with your supervisors
