Issued: 2 December 2025
Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 (FS(J)L)
This statement is to warn members of the public against dealing with unauthorised financial service providers.
The impersonating entity, via the website and email address, is falsely claiming to represent Kobe Limited, a genuine formerly registered Jersey entity (121023), which was dissolved in 2024.
From documentation held by the JFSC, the impersonating entity, via the website and email address, is falsely claiming to trade from 28 Esplanade, St. Helier, Jersey, JE2 3QA, the genuine registered office address of Kobe Limited upon dissolution. The impersonating entity is also carrying on, or holding out as carrying on, investment business, in or from within Jersey when it is not authorised to do so by the JFSC.
The JFSC confirms that:
- the impersonating entity, the website, and the email address are not connected in any way to the, now dissolved, genuine formerly registered Jersey entity, Kobe Limited, which had the following registered office address: 28 Esplanade, St. Helier, Jersey, JE2 3QA
- the impersonating entity has never been registered, nor applied for registration, under the FS(J)L, and therefore any investment business carried on by the impersonating entity is in contravention of Article 7 of the FS(J)L
- from documentation held by the JFSC, the impersonating entity, the website, and the email address display warning signs of being set up for fraudulent purposes, and appears to be a scam
Anyone who has had dealings with the impersonating entity should contact our Enforcement team.
