Have your say: consultation on Article 36 guideline updates

We have published a consultation detailing proposed updates to our guidelines on interpretation of Article 36 of the Proceeds of Crime (Jersey) Law 1999. We have updated the guidelines to address the areas of improvement highlighted by industry feedback.

Our updates aim to:

  • enhance clarity and usability
  • promote consistent interpretation across industry
  • maintain Jersey’s alignment with international standards while ensuring the guidelines are proportionate and practical
