Government of Jersey publishes update on the National Risk Assessment of Money Laundering
The Government of Jersey has published its update on the National Risk Assessment of Money Laundering.
This update builds on the National Risk Assessment of Money Laundering in Jersey published in September 2020 and should be read alongside it.
It forms part of Jersey’s continuous risk assessment work, including:
- National Risk Overview: Virtual Asset Service Providers (2022) (gov.je)
- National Risk Assessment: Legal Persons and Arrangements (2023) (gov.je)
- National Risk Assessments: Terrorist Financing (2021 and 2023) (gov.je)
The 2023 Money Laundering update:
- summarises the actions taken since 2020
- reassesses the threats faced by Jersey
- takes a more detailed look at trust and company service providers and the banking, funds and legal sectors
