Global Financial Innovation Network invites firms to participate in cross-border testing
The Global Financial Innovation Network (GFIN), is inviting applications from firms to test innovative financial products, services, business models or regulatory technology across more than one country or jurisdiction.
The GFIN, which the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) joined in 2019, is a network of over 60 international organisations that work together and share their experience of financial innovation in their respective markets. They also share developments in regtech/suptech and provide firms with an environment to trial cross-border solutions.
Twenty-three regulators across five continents are participating in this cross-border testing initiative, which builds on lessons learned following the GFIN’s 2019 cross-border testing pilot, which the JFSC took part in.
This new initiative creates an environment for firms to test their financial products, services, business models or regulatory technology in multiple jurisdictions, with the opportunity for Jersey firms to consider exploring the landscape in other jurisdictions too.
Any firms in Jersey that want more information about the application process or to hear more about this initiative can email innovate@jerseyfsc.org or visit thegfin.com.
