Feedback on additional supervisory risk data consultation paper No. 9 2023
In October 2023, we launched a consultation paper looking for your feedback on our proposals to include additional questions in our 2023 annual AML/CFT/CPF and other supervisory risk data collection exercise.
We proposed these additional questions to broaden our risk understanding of supervised businesses, particularly in the areas of conduct and prudential risk.
The consultation closed on 1 December 2023 with 52 responses received. Our responses to the feedback and explanation of how it will inform our approach can be found in the feedback paper we’ve published today: Feedback paper on consultation paper no. 9 2023
We’re grateful to all the respondents for taking the time to provide us with their feedback.
Next steps
We will proceed with issuing the 2023 annual AML/CFT/CPF and other supervisory risk data collection exercise on 1 February 2024, with a submission deadline of 31 May 2024.
The additional data collection requests proposed for non-profit organisations and trust company businesses will also be launched at the same time with the same reporting deadline.
