Faster decisions to support your applications

We have listened to stakeholder feedback on our service levels and are introducing a series of enhancements to improve efficiency and transparency.

These changes form part of our continued focus on service excellence, applying a risk-based and proportionate approach, and supporting Jersey’s growth as a leading international finance centre.

Our updated service level agreements (SLAs) set clear expectations for the timeframes associated with key regulatory processes. As part of this update, we are implementing targeted reductions in certain timeframes to reflect improved operational efficiency

The SLAs are underpinned by a risk-based framework. Applications with higher impact or complexity will continue to require longer review periods, while lower-risk applications will benefit from accelerated processing. This proportionate approach ensures that regulatory effort is aligned with risk, enhances speed to market, and supports consistent, evidence-based decision-making.

These enhancements are designed to:

  • improve efficiency and processing times where appropriate

  • provide greater clarity and transparency on expected timeframes

  • support industry participants in meeting regulatory requirements

We remain committed to working closely with industry to deliver high-quality, efficient, and proportionate regulation.

You can see all our SLAs on our service standards page.
