Our service standards

  • Last revised:10 June 2026

Our service level agreements (SLAs) set out the timeframes you can expect for key processes. We are introducing targeted reductions in certain timeframes to reflect improved efficiency.

Our SLAs are underpinned by a risk-based framework. Higher-impact or more complex applications will continue to require longer review periods, while lower-risk applications will benefit from faster processing. This proportionate approach aligns regulatory effort with risk, enhances speed to market, and supports consistent, evidence-based decision-making.

Delivery will continue to depend on the quality and completeness of the information we receive. Timelines and progress may be impacted by the responsiveness of applicants, advisers and other stakeholders.

We aim to:

  • improve efficiency where possible
  • be clear about what you can expect
  • support you in meeting regulatory requirements
