Channel Island Business Brokers

This statement is made in order to warn members of the public against dealing with unauthorised financial service and/or specified Schedule 2 business providers.

It appears to the JFSC that Channel Island Business Brokers is falsely purporting to carry on, or holding out that it is carrying on, investment business and specified Schedule 2 business (accountancy services and legal services) in Jersey when it is not authorised to do so pursuant to the provisions of the FS(J)L and the Supervisory Bodies Law.

Channel Island Business Brokers is also falsely purporting to operate from the address of The Hub, Forum 4, Grenville Street, St. Helier, Jersey JE2 4UF.

Channel Island Business Brokers has never been registered, nor applied for registration, under the FS(J)L or the Supervisory Bodies Law. Therefore any financial services business, as defined in Article 2 of the FS(J)L carried out by Channel Island Business Brokers, is in breach of Article 7(1) of the FS(J)L. Furthermore any specified Schedule 2 business, carried out by Channel Island Business Brokers, is in breach of Article 10 of the Supervisory Bodies Law.

Any person who has received financial services from the Channel Island Business Brokers is requested to contact the JFSC.
