Changes to our examinations process in response to Covid-19
We advised regulated businesses on 30 March that we were postponing our on-site examination programme, due to impact of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Initially we have delayed our examinations by four weeks until the end of April, however as examinations are a key component of our supervisory approach, we will endeavour to follow our normal programme where possible.
We have now reviewed our processes and timetable and have produced some guidance about how we intend to continue carrying out examinations while both the JFSC and regulated businesses are working from home.
We will of course keep reviewing the situation, depending on Industry’s and our own capability to manage examinations, and will update you of any changes in advance.
We have decided to delay the wire transfer thematic, planned for Q2, until later in the year. Your supervisor will contact you if we were due to review your business as part of this examination.
