Belvedere Trading Services (the Impersonating Entity)

Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998, as amended (FS(J)L)

The Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) issues this public statement pursuant to Article 25(d) of the FS(J)L.

This statement is made in order to warn members of the public against dealing with unauthorised financial service providers. The Impersonating Entity has not received authorisation to conduct investment business within the meaning of the FS(J)L and has no link whatsoever with Belvedere Services Limited (RC 90941, a genuine Jersey registered entity).

From documentation held by the JFSC, the Impersonating Entity is falsely purporting to trade from Liberation Station, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3AS and to have a registered office address of 28 Esplanade, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3QA, and is carrying on, or holding out that it is carrying on, investment business in Jersey when it is not authorised to do so pursuant to the provisions of the FS(J)L.

The JFSC wishes the following to be known:

1. The Impersonating Entity, Website and Email Addresses are not connected in any way to the genuine Jersey registered entity Belvedere Services Limited. In Jersey, Belvedere Services Limited is based at 28 Esplanade, St Helier, Jersey JE2 3QA.
2. The Impersonating Entity has never been registered, nor applied for registration, under the FS(J)L. Therefore any investment business as defined in Article 2 of the FS(J)L and carried out by the Impersonating Entity, is in breach of Article 7 of the FS(J)L.
3. From documentation held by the JFSC, the Impersonating Entity, Website and Email Addresses all display warning signs of being set up for a fraudulent purpose.

Any person who has had dealings with the Impersonating Entity is requested to contact the JFSC.
