This statement is to warn members of the public against dealing with unauthorised financial service providers.
The impersonating entity, via the email address, is falsely purporting to represent Anley Trustees Limited, a genuine Jersey registered and regulated entity (58883).
From documentation held by the JFSC, the impersonating entity is falsely claiming to trade from, IFC 1, The Esplanade, St Helier, JE1 5BP, the registered address of Anley Trustees Limited. The impersonating entity is also carrying on, or holding out as carrying on, financial service business in Jersey when not authorised to do so by the JFSC.
The JFSC confirms the following:
- The impersonating entity and email address are not connected in any way to the genuine financial service provider, Anley Trustees Limited, registered in Jersey at IFC 1, The Esplanade, St Helier, JE1 5BP.
- The impersonating entity has never been registered, nor applied for registration, under the FS(J)L. Therefore, any financial service business, as defined in Article 2 of the FS(J)L and carried out by the impersonating entity, is in breach of Article 7 of the FS(J)L.
- From documentation held by the JFSC, the impersonating entity and the email address displays warning signs of being set up for fraudulent purposes.
Anyone who has had dealings with the impersonating entity is asked to contact the JFSC’s Enforcement team.
