2026 fees consultation launches
We are consulting on our proposed fees for 2026, and welcome feedback from all fee payers, including regulated businesses and users of our registry services.
Proposal
We are proposing a general fee increase of 2.5%, with some exceptions detailed in the consultation. This is below current levels of inflation and reflects our commitment to cost discipline and operational efficiency.
Timing
We’ve brought forward this year’s fees consultation in response to industry feedback requesting earlier certainty to support planning. As a result, some details, particularly around our 2026 plans and budget, are still being finalised. We’ll share more information in the final fees notice and our 2026 business plan.
Other improvements
We are committed to providing fees that are simpler, fairer and more transparent. Improvements we have introduced to the 2026 consultation include:
- streamlining the fee notices, halving the number of pages and making the document easier to navigate
- grouping Registry fees by activity rather than entity type, and harmonising fees across legal persons and legal arrangements
- adding worked examples and simplified wording to enhance clarity
- harmonising how we charge annual fees across all regulated sectors
Feedback deadline
You can share feedback:
- directly to the JFSC by 12 September 2025
- through Jersey Finance by 8 September 2025
Next steps
A summary of feedback and final fee notice will be published by the end of September. New fees will take effect 1 January 2026.
