Sustainable finance consultation

  • Issued:27 May 2025
  • Last revised:27 May 2025

We’ve launched a consultation to help create a framework that unlocks the opportunities of sustainable finance while helping businesses manage risk. Share your views so that together we can:

  • provide greater clarity for businesses in managing sustainability risks
  • strengthen trust by helping prevent misleading claims
  • future-proof Jersey’s financial services sector, supporting resilience and long-term market access

What the consultation covers

We are asking for feedback on proposed enhancements to the Codes of Practice and Notes relating to two of the JFSC’s lead actions as part of Jersey’s Sustainable Finance Action Plan:

  • sustainability risk
  • business integrity risk

and the potential impact of the proposals.

Our consultation paper outlines:

  • our proposed enhancements
  • why we are consulting
  • who will be affected
