How Intelligence can assist other authorities
The Intelligence division can respond to informal requests, by email or through other financial crime networks from any relevant supervisory or criminal authority for information/intelligence that will assist with regulatory or criminal cases, and criminal enquiries.
Informal requests by email should only be made for non-evidential purposes and in relation to intelligence gathering. We are only able to supply intelligence concerning a regulatory/criminal enquiry or offense.
Our Intelligence division can provide you with:
- intelligence relating to individuals or entities resident within the jurisdiction
- beneficial ownership of Jersey registered companies
- historical intelligence held on Jersey regulated entities and individuals
If your request is of a highly sensitive nature, for example covert operations, terrorist financing or a national incident, contact the Head of the Intelligence Division, Kevin Andrieux: K.Andrieux@jerseyfsc.org
How to make a request for intelligence
Submit your request in writing using the form and template letter for international cooperation requests. Your request must be made in English.
You can find details about how we handle confidential information from authorities in our guidance on confidentiality requirements for shared information.
