European Commission - Joint Committee – European Supervisory Authorities
The Joint Committee is a forum with the objective of strengthening co-operation between the various European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs): European Banking Authority (EBA); the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA); and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).
Through the joint committee, one of the functions of the three ESAs is to work in a number of areas including measures to combat money laundering. The joint committee has published its objectives and tasks for combating money laundering.
