Chris Gedrych
Chief Risk Officer
Chris Gedrych first joined the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) in January 2022 as Director of Risk, and was subsequently appointed to the role of Chief Risk Officer.
As Chief Risk Officer, Chris has overall responsibility for JFSC’s risk management strategy and leads our operational and regulatory risk, assurance, information management, data protection and legal functions.
Prior to joining the JFSC, Chris worked for more than 14 years in the audit, assurance and risk field. More recently he held the roles of Head of Audit, and later Head of Operational Risk at Standard Bank Offshore Group. Prior to that he spent a number of years with PwC in South Africa before relocating to Jersey in early 2013.
Chris is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of our Executive Board.
