Robert Milner
Commissioner
Robert Milner joined the Board of Commissioners in October 2025.
He is an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey specialising in the investment funds sector and has been a longstanding contributor to Jersey’s financial services industry. Robert is a Partner in the Funds team at Carey Olsen, where he has practised since 2005, advising on the establishment and governance of Jersey fund and manager structures.
Robert serves as a Non-Executive Director of SVF GP (Jersey) Limited, the general partner of SoftBank Vision Fund LP, and is a director of several other Jersey-regulated entities. He has played a key role in shaping local regulation through his work with the Jersey Funds Association and participation in numerous legislative and regulatory working groups over the last decade.
He holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Durham, as well as qualifications from the College of Law, York.
