John Laurens

John Laurens joined the Board of Commissioners in June 2023.
A recognised leader within the banking sector, John has nearly three decades of international experience, in particular within the Asia Pacific banking market, during which time he has built and led large scale corporate and transaction banking businesses. He is a specialist in digital banking with specific expertise in transformational platforms, customer journeys, data and design thinking.
John was previously the Group Head of Global Transaction Banking of DBS and a former non-executive director of SWIFT.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Banking and Finance, Singapore, and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Banking, London.
