Jersey funds gain access to more global stock exchanges and markets
We have updated Appendix 1 (recognised stock exchanges or markets) in Schedule 3 of the Jersey Listed Fund Guide. This change aligns the listed fund regime with updates to the Companies (Jersey) Law 1991 and the framework for listed companies.
Aligning the listed fund and listed company frameworks makes it easier to use a wider range of recognised exchanges and helps Jersey funds access some of the world’s largest and most established markets.
What’s changing
Jersey listed funds can now be admitted to any of the 138 European Free Trade Association (EFTA) regulated markets.
We have provided links to the Financial Conduct Authority lists of:
- recognised investment exchanges
- recognised overseas investment exchanges
- designated stock exchanges
These lists include a further 66 exchanges.
