International Monetary Fund Co-ordinated Portfolio Investment Survey
Jersey is a voluntary contributor to the IMF's Co-ordinated Portfolio Investment Survey (the CPIS).
The CPIS aims to collect information on the stock of cross-border holdings of equities and long and short-term debt securities valued at market prices prevailing at the time of the CPIS, and is broken down by the economy of residence of the issuer.
The CPIS requests data on holdings of securities at 31 December of each year.
The guidance notes provide detail on the process, and what should be included in the annual return for the CPIS.
