Reminder: Annual confirmation statement deadline 28 February

  • Registry

We want to remind local businesses to submit their annual confirmation statements before the 28 February 2022.

Annual confirmation statements were introduced last year, replacing annual returns. This was following the new Financial Services (Disclosure and Provision of Information) (JERSEY) Law 2020, coming into effect.

What to do if you can’t meet the deadline

If you don’t think you are going to meet the deadline, we want to reassure you that there is no need to worry.

Make contact with us by 17:00 on 28 February to let us know your circumstances; as long as we hear from you and understand your reasons for not meeting the deadline, we can discuss next steps.

Our priority at this stage is making sure the data we hold for Jersey companies is accurate and up-to-date.

How to contact us

Every year we experience a last minute rush from companies to meet the deadline and this year is no exception. We are therefore looking after a significant volume of customers over the phone, by email and in-person at one-to-one appointments at our offices.

Our team is responding as quickly as possible to service requests and we will be in touch with customers to arrange support calls and appointments for those who need some extra help.

You shouldn’t worry if you don’t hear from us immediately and we reiterate that you will not incur late fees.

We cannot accept drop-ins at our offices – you need to book an appointment with us to speak to a member of the team.

As it’s so close to the deadline, we are experiencing a high volume of calls so please bear with us.

Book an appointment

We are offering one-to-one appointments with our Registry team to help get you set-up on myRegistry and complete your annual confirmation statement. The earliest we can currently offer an appointment is early March.

To book your appointment, call our main reception on (01534) 822000 or you can send us an email
