Qudos Insurance A/S declared bankrupt

We are warning members of the public that Qudos Insurance A/S (Qudos) has been declared bankrupt.

Qudos is an insurance company located in Denmark and regulated by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority. The company holds a permit to conduct insurance business in or from Jersey, under the Insurance Business (Jersey) Law 1996 and is also an authorized insurer under the Motor Traffic (Third-Party Insurance) (Jersey) Law 1948.

We are aware that Qudos’ primary insurance business in Jersey consists of car warranty, tyre and alloy protection, and vehicle cosmetic repair.

If you believe that you have an existing Qudos insurance policy or potential claim, you should contact the insurance broker or agent that sold you the policy in the first instance.

It is possible that the Danish Guarantee Fund and the UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme may cover some existing policies.
