JFSC hosts first virtual careers fair
We’re hosting our first ever virtual careers fair this month. This is your chance to learn more about what it’s like to work at the JFSC and hear first-hand from our people about the opportunities we offer.
The way we are all working has changed so much in the past year. As an organisation, we’ve adapted and understand that people now want greater flexibility. You might be looking to switch careers, move to part-time or flexible working, or perhaps you’re starting out on your career journey. Whatever the case, we may have a role that suits you.
We employ a range of staff from newly qualified graduates and students to experienced professionals who've had successful careers in finance and other sectors. Our work is varied and spans multiple fields, including policy, risk, supervision, enforcement, operations and the Registry.
You can find out more about the work we do at our careers fair. Anyone is welcome to join for an informal chat. We may not be able to give you the usual goody bag but every attendee with take away something from the event...
Outline of the session
We’re hosting two sessions so you can choose the date and time that’s convenient for you. Both will cover the same material:
Evening session: Tuesday 20 April at 18:15-19:00
Lunchtime session: Thursday 22 April at 13:05-13:55
These will be really informal sessions. You will ‘virtually meet’ staff of varying levels of seniority from across the organisation who will give you a flavour of our culture and what it’s like to work for the Island’s financial regulator.
They will advise about:
- current vacancies
- learning and development opportunities
- our benefits package.
Plus, they’ll answer any questions you may have.
Register for your place
Sign up to either session on Eventbrite. You will then receive instructions for joining the virtual fair and more details about what to expect from the session.
If you can’t make either of these dates, but you’d be interested in an informal chat about one of our roles, feel free to contact our Human Resources team. Or send us a speculative application via our website.
