Step 3 - Phase II of the JFSC's Supervisory Risk Data Collection Exercise - 30 August 2018
Our communication update issued on 17 July 2018 gave details of the timeline and approach for Phase II of our Supervisory Risk Data Collection Exercise.
As outlined in Step 3 of the communication, we committed to providing exact timings for this collection exercise by the end of August.
The exercise will commence on 17 September 2018, and we will be requesting data from the following to be submitted to us by 17:00 on 16 November 2018:
- Trust Company Businesses (excluding natural persons carrying on a single class of trust company business)
- Fund Services Businesses
- CIF public funds, Jersey private funds and Jersey unregulated funds
If your business falls into one of the above, there is specific data that you will be required to submit to us. As we did for Steps 1 and 2 of the exercise, we will send you more detailed information about your requirements via the myJFSC portal. We will also publish sector-specific guidance on our website to help you with the submission of this information.
We understand that some of the requested data may not be available retrospectively. We will therefore accept information on a best endeavours basis, calculated responses or estimates supported by specific criteria.
To submit data, firms will need to download and complete the Excel workbook from the myJFSC portal, which will be available from 17 September 2018.
