Registration opens for AML/CFT Presentations at the Town Hall

As set out in the Commission’s latest eNewsletter (published October 2014), the Commission is to run a series of presentations in the Assembly Room at the Town Hall on:

  • Changes to the Money Laundering (Jersey) Order 2008 (the “Money Laundering Order”) since December 2013; and
  • Changes proposed to the AML/CFT Handbooks under Consultation Papers AML 1 to 3.

These presentations are to be run on the following dates: 25 and 26 November 2014; and 2, 3 and 5 December 2014.  There will be: (i) four general overview presentations; and (ii) eight more detailed presentations covering four specific parts of the AML/CFT framework.

A - 26 November:
     09:00 to 11:30

B - 2 December:
     08:30 to 11:00

C - 2 December:
     12:00 to 14:30

D - 5 December:
     09:00 to 11:30

E - 25 November:
     09:00 to 10:30

F - 3 December:
     08:00 to 09:30

G - 25 November:
     12:00 to 13:30

H - 3 December:
     10:00 to 11:30

I - 25 November:
     15:00 to 16:30

J - 26 November:
     13:00 to 14:30

K- 26 November:
     16:00 to 17:30

L - 2 December:
     15:30 to 17:00

Registration will take place on a “first come first served” basis.  However, businesses are requested to register no more than five individuals on each presentation.  

Copies of slides used during these presentations will be made available on the Commission’s website.

There is no charge for attending these presentations.  “CPD” certificates will not be provided.
