REVOCATION TEMPLATE LETTERS
REVOCATION OF A CONSENT GRANTED UNDER THE CONTROL OF BORROWING
(JERSEY) ORDER 1958 (COBO)
COBO Only funds and Private Placement funds
With respect to COBO structures, including COBO only funds, and funds authorised under the Jersey Private Placement Fund Guide, where consent has been granted under COBO and is no longer required a request should be made, in writing, to the Commission to have the COBO consent revoked.
Any request should be made using the appropriate template letter below. The template letters include the relevant confirmations, required by the Commission before it will revoke the consent. However, the confirmations should be amended as necessary to reflect the circumstances of the particular COBO consent. All letters should be sent to email@example.com.
Very Private Structures (issued with a COBO consent prior to 18 April 2017)
With respect to very private structures where consent has been granted under COBO and is no longer required, confirmation using the language of the template letters is not required. However, the Commission would like to receive confirmation that any COBO consent conditions have been complied with and the reason that the consent is no longer required. All confirmations should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Jersey Private Funds (issued with a COBO consent from 18 April 2017)
Where consent has been granted under COBO and is no longer required, the relevant Designated Service Provider (DSP) of a Jersey Private Fund should complete a JPF Notice of Change or Event form which is available here and submit the same to email@example.com.
Jersey Unit Trusts and Non-Domiciled Structures (issued with a COBO consent from 18 April 2017)
With respect to Jersey Unit Trusts and Non-Domiciled Structures which are not funds where consent has been granted under COBO and is no longer required, the relevant ‘Change of Particulars Form’ form (which are available under the relevant section here) should be completed and submitted to JUT@jerseyfsc.org or N.DS@jerseyfsc.org as appropriate.
