Feedback published on Registry fees consultation
In November, we asked for feedback on our proposals to change how we approach our Registry fees.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views. We have now collated and published the feedback.
In summary, we are proceeding with all of the changes set out in our consultation paper, with one exception. This is for the proposed fee that companies administered by a regulated service provider holding a Class ‘O’ licence* will be charged for their annual confirmation statement. They will be charged £220, the same rate as ordinarily administered companies.
There will also be no fee for Jersey registered charities submitting annual confirmation statements in 2021.
By introducing this new fees structure, we will be able to build strong and resilient capital reserves for our Registry, allowing us to prepare for the unexpected, while maintaining and developing our new digital Registry.
We will contact each company affected by this change, to set out the increase and the new fees.
More information on the changes we are making to our Registry.

*There is a clear distinction between the activities of a Class O licence holder and those of other Trust Company Business (TCB) licence holders. A Class O TCB licence permits a registered business to provide limited services to Jersey residents only. Class O licence holders cannot hold other classes of TCB licence or provide TCB services to non-Jersey residents.
