AMENDMENT OF CERTIFIED FUND CERTIFICATE RE TERMINATION OF SUB-FUND(S)

In order to amend a certified fund certificate to take account of the termination of one or more sub-funds, the relevant certificate holder should write to the Commission using the Certified Fund Certificate Amendment Request Form Re Sub-Fund Termination.

At the same time as the Certified Fund Certificate Amendment Request Form Re Sub-Fund Termination is submitted, any fund service provider appointed by the Jersey certified fund in respect of the sub-fund(s) (excluding a trustee or general partner) and registered under the FS(J)L to carry on fund services business, should also write to the Commission using the FSB (Excluding Trustee or GP) Ceasing to Act Notice Form.

On receipt of the necessary Certified Fund Certificate Amendment Request Form Re Sub-Fund Termination and FSB (Excluding Trustee or GP) Ceasing to Act Notice Form(s), the Commission will consider the certificate amendment request and, if appropriate, issue a notice under Article 8D of the CIF Law confirming the effective date for the amendment to the certificate. At the same time, the list of sub-funds of the Jersey certified fund on the Commission's website will be updated to take account of the amendment.

Please note that in accordance with the Commission Notice of Fees payable by or in relation to CIFs, a fee of £320 is payable to the Commission by the certificate holder in connection with the Certified Fund Certificate Amendment Request Form Re Sub-Fund Termination.

FUND SERVICE PROVIDER (EXCLUDING TRUSTEE OR GP) CEASING TO ACT FOR A JERSEY CERTIFIED FUND WHICH IS NOT CANCELLING ITS CERTIFIED FUND CERTIFICATE

Any fund service provider (excluding a trustee or general partner) appointed by a Jersey certified fund and registered under the FS(J)L to carry on fund services business, should write to the Commission using the FSB (Excluding Trustee or GP) Ceasing to Act Notice Form as soon as reasonably practicable in the event that it no longer intends to act for the relevant certified fund.
