NEW DIRECTOR AT THE JERSEY FINANCIAL SERVICES COMMISSION

The Jersey Financial Services Commission is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Whiteley as Director of Support Services. The Division provides operational core services for the Commission including information technology, human resources, premises management and business and strategic planning.

Before joining the Commission, Mark has previously worked at Barclays, Merck Finck & Co (a Barclays subsidiary in Munich), EFG Reads and RBSI.

Mark has a French Degree. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a member of the Oxford University Business Economics Programme.

Richard Pratt, Director General of the Jersey Financial Services Commission, said "The Commission is delighted to welcome Mark to the Board of Directors. He brings a breadth of experience and we look forward to reaping the benefit of his skill and energy."
