Ceasing to Act Form

Q1: Has the “Ceasing to Act Form” become part of the new process?

No, at this stage, the paper-based “Ceasing to Act Form” continues in its existing format and notification to the Commission must be made on this form.

Q2: Where the Commission is notified by a Registered Person that I have ceased, or am about to cease, acting as a Principal Person or Key Person, will my Personal Questionnaire information be automatically updated?

No, the Personal Questionnaire information accessed through the Commission Portal is a reflection of the information you have provided through the submission of an electronic Personal Questionnaire, which currently does not include notification of ceasing
to act.

As a result, when you next utilise the Commission Portal, to submit an updated Personal Questionnaire, you will need to remove any previous positions held before adding new appointments.
