Deputy Director General to leave JFSC - 9 April 2019
The JFSC announces today that John Everett, Deputy Director General, is to leave the organisation.
John Everett joined the JFSC in May 2014 as Director of Funds and Fiduciary Supervision, and at various times in his career at the organisation, has led the supervision and policy/financial crime policy teams, as well as being responsible for government relations. He was promoted to the role of Deputy Director General in November 2015.
John Everett said:
“It has been a privilege to be part of the leadership of the JFSC for the last five years with its committed and talented team. Jersey is a great place to live and work and the JFSC plays a key role in the health of its main industry.”
Martin Moloney, Director General, said:
“I would like to thank John for his commitment to the JFSC, including his strategic insight and contribution to our successful change programme. We wish John every success in his future endeavours.”
John joined the JFSC after a successful regulatory career at the Financial Services Authority (now Financial Conduct Authority), where he specialised in investment management issues and international representation.
John will leave the JFSC at the end of September.
