Migration of fund functionaries to the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998

The regulation of fund functionaries acting for unclassified funds will be transferred from the Collective Investment Funds (Jersey) Law 1988 to the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 on the 14 November 2007. The Commission has issued the following letter to Industry setting out the practical steps by which the transfer will be effected. A link is also provided to a Notification Form for businesses acting as Manager of a Managed entity ("MoME").
